YOUR BODY, YOUR IDENTITY, YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH YOURSELF- ALL OF IT GETS TO BE YOURS.
Therapy for Trans & Non-Binary Folks in Western WA
Do you find yourself wanting to feel more at home in yourself, while still figuring out what that means for you?
You may be navigating questions about your gender, your relationship with your body, or simply what it means to feel more fully yourself. Maybe you're questioning, exploring, transitioning, or still figuring out what feels right for you. Maybe your gender feels relatively settled, but you're looking for therapy that understands the ways identity, embodiment, relationships, and the nervous system can intersect.
You don't have to arrive with everything figured out. You don't have to know whether you want to transition, what transition should look like for you, or even have the words to explain exactly what you're experiencing. And you don't have to be experiencing gender dysphoria to want a therapist who understands and affirms who you are.
For some people, the work may involve navigating dysphoria, changes in your body, social transition, or the complicated feelings that can come with being seen (or not being seen—as who you know yourself to be. For others, the work may be about trauma, anxiety, intense emotions, relationships, self-trust, or simply having a space where you don't have to explain or defend who you are.
Whether you're early in your gender journey, somewhere in the middle, comfortably settled in your identity, or simply looking for a therapist who gets it, you deserve a space where you can explore yourself without pressure or judgment.
My approach is rooted in the belief that your body, your identity, and your relationship with yourself belong to you. Together, we'll create space to listen to what you need, develop greater self-trust, and find ways of inhabiting your life and your body that feel more like your own.
You're ready to trust yourself more deeply, feel more connected to yourself, and explore who you are and how you want to move through the world.
How therapy works
You can learn to understand your patterns with greater compassion, trust yourself more deeply, and build the secure, meaningful connections you've been longing for.
Healing doesn't happen by simply trying harder to control your emotions or stop repeating patterns that leave you feeling stuck. It happens by understanding where those patterns came from, how they have helped you survive, and how you can begin creating new ways of responding that feel more aligned with who you are. Together, we'll explore the experiences, emotions, and relationship patterns that have shaped you while building greater self-trust, emotional awareness, and capacity for choice.
Drawing from attachment theory, somatic therapies, neuroscience, and trauma-informed approaches, I help people understand themselves with greater compassion and develop new ways of relating to their emotions, their relationships, and their sense of self. Therapy is not about changing who you are or making you feel less deeply. It's about helping you feel more grounded and secure while creating more space to choose how you want to respond.
My role is not to tell you who you should be. It's to walk alongside you as you learn to trust yourself, make sense of your experiences, and build a life where you can experience deep connection without losing yourself in the process.

FAQs
-
No. You don't need to be experiencing dysphoria, questioning your gender, or wanting to transition to work with me. You may be coming to therapy because you're trans or nonbinary and want a therapist who understands and affirms that part of you, or you may be seeking support for trauma, intense emotions, relationships, anxiety, or simply being a highly sensitive person. Your gender doesn't have to be the reason you're here. Learn more
-
Absolutely. We can make space for questions about your gender, dysphoria, social or medical transition, coming out, relationships, family dynamics, or the complicated feelings that can come with being seen (or not being seen) as yourself. I won't tell you whether you should transition or what your transition should look like. My role is to help you listen to yourself, explore what feels right for you, and make choices from a place of greater self-trust. Learn more

You don't have to have everything figured out before you come to therapy. You can explore your gender at your own pace, including the possibility that you may not have the language for what you're experiencing yet. Therapy can be a private space to ask questions, explore possibilities, and make sense of what you're feeling without pressure to come to a particular conclusion. Learn more.

That's completely okay. Your gender can be an important part of your experience without being the focus of every therapy session. We can talk about whatever brings you into therapy- trauma, relationships, intense emotions, anxiety, self-trust, body connection, or anything else that matters to you. You don't have to make your gender the focus of therapy for it to be welcome in the room. Learn more.
